While pricing might vary depending on the dealer and brand, you should expect to pay more for your vented jacket than for an ordinary motorcycle jacket. However, if you consider that these jackets serve the purpose of two jackets, they are actually cheaper than buying one jacket for cold weather and one for hot weather riding.
Another disadvantage is that these jackets might take some getting used to. For riders who have been used to a non vented one, the change to a vented motorcycle jacket might prove challenging especially when it comes to using the vents when necessary.
